How does the application process work?

Application and Offer of Placement

Guardians submit an application to the preschool they wish to apply to. If a spot is available, the application is reviewed by the principal, who will then contact the guardians to arrange a visit and tour of the preschool.

After the visit, the guardians may be offered a placement. The offer must be accepted within two weeks; otherwise, the spot will be offered to another child in the queue. Upon confirmation of acceptance, an introduction schedule and relevant information will be sent via email well in advance. A contact person for the child will be assigned by the preschool prior to the start of the introduction.

Fjärilen Konceptet AB reserves the right to decline offering a spot if, during contact, visit, or dialogue, it becomes evident that conditions for collaboration with the guardians are lacking, or if the child's safety, the staff's work environment, or the educational setting is at risk of being negatively affected. Each case is assessed individually and with regard to the best interests of the child, in accordance with Chapter 2, Section 8, and Chapter 8, Sections 18–19 of the Swedish Education Act (2010:800).
